ok, a few days ago i read a post regarding the use of nos with the racelogic tc system. I was not aware of not being able to use nos with this system, however it will not stop me from installing it. rather, it made me think of my future setup and how it might actually work together. now, i dont pretend to know everything so thats why im kinda asking this in more of a statement/question format.
First let me explain what my engine setup will be than i'll be a little more specific as to my question. Now, for the next year i will finish my interior/brake/suspension setup, than next year bring my car up to primespeed since they apparantly can fit big turbos in our cars (ask sparkie) i am planning on the 2835 kit, and if thats not possible (which i think it is) i will do the icon gt 35 kit. now, instead of increasing the size of my injectors (555) i wanted to add 2 more additional injectors and have them controlled by the rebic or something similar. i also plan on a 60 shot of nos for spool up. so this is kinda enough for you to understand where im going with this. see, the racelogic system cuts off fuel from the original 6 injectors, however since i will be running the additional ones via electronics, the rltc system wont affect those 2. therefor i cant see how i will run lean when the rltc system is taking effect while the nos is on. The way i see it is that when looking at the engine, on the hard pipes, first would come the injectors, than the nos, closer to the tb's. now, i understand that the additional injectors only turn on at a set rpm, and the nos is lower rpms (obviously, its a spool kit), but since i would only really use the nos for the race setup, i will be launching at 4k and i cant see me setting the injectors for much less than 4.5k under full throttle, so at worst the nos is on by itself for 5oo rpms. ( I hope someone is still with me at this point)
SO, does anyone see any flaws in this? am i not picturing this correctly. please tell me if this isnt going to work, or if you want to add something to it. i may have left something out, but ill add to it if i did. So, the basic question here is, will nos work with the racelogic traction control system when using additional injectors? damn long post, sorry, hope this sparks some interest. thanks for your help :)
